Water is very important for the human body:
Adults are recommended to have a daily intake of 2 - 3 litres. The base for the drinking regime is water and mineral water – it is important though to read the label on the water to be aware of the mineral content. Mineral waters with a medium to high mineralization are not suitable for regular drinking especially for people suffering from hypertension, circulation problems, kidney stones, etc. There are also waters that are rich in elements that are good for the body and that can be used during a limited time to support healing.
Fruit and vegetable juices diluted with water or weak tea are also suitable for repleating fluids. Be careful though with sweetened drinks and take notice of the sugar content..
